It's been two weeks today since my surgery. I had my c5 and c6 discs replaced with artificial discs. There was only mild pain at best after the surgery and I did not need any pain medication. Bertagnoli's office is very organized and efficient. The hospital is the same. I still have tingling in the thumb and some mild shoulder area pain but time will tell if the nerves will heal. The advantage so far is restored disc height and an increase in the size of the foramen. And, my c5 and c6 were fusing together and the Doctor fixed that too.
